creating a *.bat file to kill "explorer.exe" and restart it after quitting the game like it was kindly described by a user in the topic mentioned above didn't fix it either, sadly. Manually closing the "explorer.exe" via task-manager before starting the game, as well while in game/after starting the game didn't fix it. Also, i can't ALT+Tab out of the game but i'm not sure if that's normal maybe. The PAUSE-Key strangely doesn't work at all for me, it doesn't even pause the game. I'm trying to run the game on Win7 64-Bit, an AMD/ATI HD Radeon 6970 GPU and i7-2600K CPU. Now i'm kinda stuck, since all possible solutions i found online so far, were about closing the "explorer.exe" which doesn't fix it (or maybe i'm doing it wrong?). I came across a topic here in the forums (i can't link to it since i'm new) with someone having the same issue, but sadly the solution given there didn't work for me. I picked up Anno 1602 last weekend during the sale but sadly i'm experiencing the issue with heavily distorted colors in the main menu as well as in the game (intro videos before main menu work fine though).
